Ice Cream Social


We were blessed to have 9 New Cadets join us on July 17th for the Ice Cream Social - a short afternoon break away from training. We enjoyed some burgers, dogs and homemade ice cream as we got to know each other a little better. (see pictures on the ‘Photos’ page) We had met many of them through the Sunday morning worship services held at various times on Trophy Point. The new cadets are allowed to break away for a short period of time and meet with us for the Lord’s Supper and a few words of encouragement. Our normal Sunday worship services will resume on the 14th of August.


Acceptance Weekend Services

 

As Always, parents and friends are welcome to join us for worship services on August 14th, the Sunday after Acceptance Day for the Class of 2015. We will meet at 10:00 a.m. for our Bible Study on that first morning that we are back in the Interfaith Center, Building 147. Directions to the Interfaith Center are on the ‘About Us’ page.


ACADEMIC YEAR (Mid-August thru May)   Sunday Morning Cadet Interfaith Center (Building 147) 1000-1130 We have:     Prayer     Acapella singing of traditional hymns as well as worships songs     The Lord's Supper (Communion)     Bible-based sermons   Tuesday Night Time (TNT) Cadet Interfaith Center (Building 147) 1930-2045 We have:      Fellowship Time      Singing      Bible Study Time   STAND FIRM (Saturday Theater And Nightly Devotional For Individual Religious Motivation)   Typically located in the homes of the families at West Point. This is a time of food, fellowship and fun. A short devotional is held. Cadets can watch movies or play games.   SUMMER SERVICES (June thru Mid-August) Variable times and locations.
